Commemorating Chandrayan

 Day Date: 21-07-2023

 Objective of the Event 

 To create awareness about the Indian Space Mission Chandrayan 2.

 A quiz competition was organised by the Mathematics Club of St Peter’s Training College, Kolenchery as part of Chandrayaan Day. The event was indeed to create an awareness regarding the Indian Space mission Chandrayan.


 This helped in encouraging students to gain general knowledge, apart from the curriculum based knowledge. The Chief Guest of the event was Mrs. Jaye Alias, Principal, Teachers Training Institute, Kolenchery. 

The quiz comprised of two rounds plus a bonus round. Prizes were awarded to the winners. The Event went live on Face book as well.

Placement Drive  Date               :  Venue           : St. Peter's Training College, Kolenchery  The HR Connect Placement Drive was conducted at St. Peter's Training College, Kolenchery on          .The resource person was Mr. Ragesh G, Founder School Connect HR. It was conducted for the senior students and was a pivotal initiative aimed at bridging the gap between vocation and training. Through meticulous planning and execution the placement drive provided students with invaluable opportunities for internships.

 YOGA DAY The word yoga is derived from the Sanskrit root  yuj , meaning “to yoke,” or “to unite”. The practice aims to create union between body, mind and spirit, as well as between the individual self and universal consciousness. Such a union tends to neutralize ego-driven thoughts and behaviours, creating a sense of spiritual awakening. Date               : 14-09-2023 Venue             : St Peter's College, Kolenchery Objective     : To learn about various yoga postures Resource person : Ms Keerthi A training workshop on yoga was conducted on 14th September 2023 at the college Seminar Hall. The session started at 10.00 am where the resource person Ms. Keerthi introduced the history of yoga and its importance. She gave a demonstration of various asanas, pranayamas and meditation.
