FIRST AID TRAINING

A comprehensive first aid training session was conducted at the Pattimattam Fire Station, encompassing speeches and demonstrations of various vital techniques. The awareness class was officially inaugurated by the Station Officer N.H. Assainar. The classes were led by Rescue Officer V.Y.Shameer and P.R.Unnikrishnan. Participants were instructed in CPR, learning the essential steps to administer life-saving assistance in emergency situations. Safety floats were demonstrated, emphasizing their significance in water-related rescues. Additionally, detailed instructions were provided on the proper usage of fire extinguishers, equipping attendees with the knowledge to effectively combat fires. The event served as a valuable opportunity for individuals to acquire crucial skills and knowledge essential for responding to diverse emergencies, thereby fostering a safer community environment.

Placement Drive  Date               :  Venue           : St. Peter's Training College, Kolenchery  The HR Connect Placement Drive was conducted at St. Peter's Training College, Kolenchery on          .The resource person was Mr. Ragesh G, Founder School Connect HR. It was conducted for the senior students and was a pivotal initiative aimed at bridging the gap between vocation and training. Through meticulous planning and execution the placement drive provided students with invaluable opportunities for internships.

 YOGA DAY The word yoga is derived from the Sanskrit root  yuj , meaning “to yoke,” or “to unite”. The practice aims to create union between body, mind and spirit, as well as between the individual self and universal consciousness. Such a union tends to neutralize ego-driven thoughts and behaviours, creating a sense of spiritual awakening. Date               : 14-09-2023 Venue             : St Peter's College, Kolenchery Objective     : To learn about various yoga postures Resource person : Ms Keerthi A training workshop on yoga was conducted on 14th September 2023 at the college Seminar Hall. The session started at 10.00 am where the resource person Ms. Keerthi introduced the history of yoga and its importance. She gave a demonstration of various asanas, pranayamas and meditation.
