Venue-Seminar Hall, St peters training college Kolenchery.

 

St peter’s training college Kolenchery conducted Christmas day celebrations on 22nd December 2023.The program begin at 10 Am with a prayer. The function was presided over by the vice chairperson Ms Sreelakshmi K Warrier. The welcome address was given by the Union member Bhagyasree A K. The principal's message was delivered by Dr Raji K Paul. The keynote address and the cake cutting ceremony was performed by the chief guest of the day Fr. Staff secretary Shani Miss, Formal Chairperson Joel Sam Joseph, Chairperson of the college union Ms Anaswara Anand, Class leader Mohammed Thafheem felicitated the function. The official function ended with a vote of thanks by Sonia John(UUC). This was followed by a bunch of cultural programme, activities and games.

Placement Drive  Date               :  Venue           : St. Peter's Training College, Kolenchery  The HR Connect Placement Drive was conducted at St. Peter's Training College, Kolenchery on          .The resource person was Mr. Ragesh G, Founder School Connect HR. It was conducted for the senior students and was a pivotal initiative aimed at bridging the gap between vocation and training. Through meticulous planning and execution the placement drive provided students with invaluable opportunities for internships.

 YOGA DAY The word yoga is derived from the Sanskrit root  yuj , meaning “to yoke,” or “to unite”. The practice aims to create union between body, mind and spirit, as well as between the individual self and universal consciousness. Such a union tends to neutralize ego-driven thoughts and behaviours, creating a sense of spiritual awakening. Date               : 14-09-2023 Venue             : St Peter's College, Kolenchery Objective     : To learn about various yoga postures Resource person : Ms Keerthi A training workshop on yoga was conducted on 14th September 2023 at the college Seminar Hall. The session started at 10.00 am where the resource person Ms. Keerthi introduced the history of yoga and its importance. She gave a demonstration of various asanas, pranayamas and meditation.
