FARMER'S DAY

Venue                : St Peter's Training College, Kolenchery, Seminar Hall
Objective           : To spread awareness about the importance of farming and to                                     inspire young people to pursue agriculture.
Resource person: Mr.Jimmy Paul

The Farmer's Day celebrations were held on August 17th 2023 at 10.00 am, at the Seminar Hall of St Peter's Training College, Kolenchery. Mr. Jimmy Paul,a young farmer, was honored in the function as a mark of our respect towards the entire farmer community. This was followed by an interactive session, wherein he enriched us with small and big nuggets of wisdom. the Vote of Thanks was delivered by the class leader,Vismaya P R.The afternoon session was dedicated to planting trees.

Placement Drive  Date               :  Venue           : St. Peter's Training College, Kolenchery  The HR Connect Placement Drive was conducted at St. Peter's Training College, Kolenchery on          .The resource person was Mr. Ragesh G, Founder School Connect HR. It was conducted for the senior students and was a pivotal initiative aimed at bridging the gap between vocation and training. Through meticulous planning and execution the placement drive provided students with invaluable opportunities for internships.

 YOGA DAY The word yoga is derived from the Sanskrit root  yuj , meaning “to yoke,” or “to unite”. The practice aims to create union between body, mind and spirit, as well as between the individual self and universal consciousness. Such a union tends to neutralize ego-driven thoughts and behaviours, creating a sense of spiritual awakening. Date               : 14-09-2023 Venue             : St Peter's College, Kolenchery Objective     : To learn about various yoga postures Resource person : Ms Keerthi A training workshop on yoga was conducted on 14th September 2023 at the college Seminar Hall. The session started at 10.00 am where the resource person Ms. Keerthi introduced the history of yoga and its importance. She gave a demonstration of various asanas, pranayamas and meditation.
