Venue         :St peters training college Kolenchery

The Community citizenship training camp B E d batch 2022- 2024 was organized at St peters training college Kolenchery from 23/01/2024 to 27/01/2024. The camp was titled NAMMALIDAM- MARUNNA IDANGALIL PUTHEN UNARVODE. Camp included various programs such as project activity, classes by resource persons, old age home visit, and lotion or soap making. Classes were led by Mr. Manoj M Paul, MR. Mahin K Aliyar, Mr. Civy Puliyath, Mr. Brahmanayakam Mahadevan and Mr. VP Menachery.

The whole class were divided into 5 groups also committee such as food committee, project committee, program committee, documentation committee and cultural program committee were arranged for conducting the camp in a well-organized manner. The camp was inaugurated by Mr. Nirmal Sabu Assistant professor, NSS program officer, TMJM Govt college Manimalkkunnu. and the valedictory session on the last day of the camp was inaugurated by Dr Basil B Mathew, HOD Assistant professor Dpt of political science of St peters training college Kolenchery. Each day was given names as Varavelppu, Haridapam, Manogadam, Bharatheeyam, and Punerjeni. The students were awarded the mementos Jithu Jacob Lal was selected as the best performer and Annena Byju was selected as Special performer of the camp. 

In conclusion the camp was a resounding success providing a transformative experience for all participants.

Placement Drive  Date               :  Venue           : St. Peter's Training College, Kolenchery  The HR Connect Placement Drive was conducted at St. Peter's Training College, Kolenchery on          .The resource person was Mr. Ragesh G, Founder School Connect HR. It was conducted for the senior students and was a pivotal initiative aimed at bridging the gap between vocation and training. Through meticulous planning and execution the placement drive provided students with invaluable opportunities for internships.

 YOGA DAY The word yoga is derived from the Sanskrit root  yuj , meaning “to yoke,” or “to unite”. The practice aims to create union between body, mind and spirit, as well as between the individual self and universal consciousness. Such a union tends to neutralize ego-driven thoughts and behaviours, creating a sense of spiritual awakening. Date               : 14-09-2023 Venue             : St Peter's College, Kolenchery Objective     : To learn about various yoga postures Resource person : Ms Keerthi A training workshop on yoga was conducted on 14th September 2023 at the college Seminar Hall. The session started at 10.00 am where the resource person Ms. Keerthi introduced the history of yoga and its importance. She gave a demonstration of various asanas, pranayamas and meditation.
