Venue - St peter’s Training College Kolenchery.

 

 

February 28 is celebrated as National Science Day every year across the country in commemoration of the great scientist Dr. C V Raman. As part of this, the science club of St. Peter's training college Kolenchery organized science day celebration on 26,27 and 28th of February 2024. In view of this, an exhibition was organized on 26th February. The exhibition was inaugurated by Students from St. Peter's Teacher training Institute visited the exhibition on 27th of February 2024.

 The science day celebration marked its end on 28th of February with a documentary presentation and demonstration of a few experiments.

Placement Drive  Date               :  Venue           : St. Peter's Training College, Kolenchery  The HR Connect Placement Drive was conducted at St. Peter's Training College, Kolenchery on          .The resource person was Mr. Ragesh G, Founder School Connect HR. It was conducted for the senior students and was a pivotal initiative aimed at bridging the gap between vocation and training. Through meticulous planning and execution the placement drive provided students with invaluable opportunities for internships.

 YOGA DAY The word yoga is derived from the Sanskrit root  yuj , meaning “to yoke,” or “to unite”. The practice aims to create union between body, mind and spirit, as well as between the individual self and universal consciousness. Such a union tends to neutralize ego-driven thoughts and behaviours, creating a sense of spiritual awakening. Date               : 14-09-2023 Venue             : St Peter's College, Kolenchery Objective     : To learn about various yoga postures Resource person : Ms Keerthi A training workshop on yoga was conducted on 14th September 2023 at the college Seminar Hall. The session started at 10.00 am where the resource person Ms. Keerthi introduced the history of yoga and its importance. She gave a demonstration of various asanas, pranayamas and meditation.
