On 18th March 2024, an Anti-Rabies Awareness class was conducted to address the pressing issue of rabies within the community. Maria Alias commenced the event with a welcome speech, setting the stage for an informative session. Ranjith K Joy, as the chief speaker, delivered a comprehensive keynote address, enlightening the attendees about the prevalence, transmission and preventive measures against rabies. Throughout the programme, various awareness activities were undertaken, including presentations and interactive sessions, aimed at equipping participants with knowledge on recognizing rabies symptoms and administering the first aid. Mohammad Thafheem conveyed the vote of thanks acknowledging the collective efforts of all involved in organizing the event. The programme concluded with a renewed commitment to ongoing awareness efforts, emphasizing the importance of community collaboration in combating rabies and safeguarding both human and animal health.
