The College day - Gallata celebrations was held on 15th March 2024 from 10 Am to 3 30 Pm. at Seminar Hall St Peter's Training College Kolenchery. The welcome speech for the formal gathering was delivered by AROHA college union vice chairperson Shintu Mol Sebastian. The function was presided over by chairman of AROHA College union Mr. Joel Sam Joseph. The annual report of AROHA college union 2022-2023 was presented by General Secretary Ms. Ananya Subash and the annual report of 2023-2024 of THUDIPPU college union was presented by lady representative Mrs. Roshini Francis. The annual report of 2022-2024 was presented by Dr Raji K Paul (Principle of St peter's training college Kolenchery). The function was felicitated by chairman of THUDIPPU college union Ms. Anaswara Anand and Staff Secretary Shani Mol.

The renowned paly back singer and Sa Ri Ga Ma Pa fame Mr Libin Sacaria officially inaugurated the function at 11 30 pm. For the span of an hour, He enraptured us with the melodious of his music, weaving a tapestry of enchantment that lingered long after the final note had faded. The Vote thanks was delivered by vice chairman of THUDIPPU college union 2024 Ms. Sreelakshmi K Warrier. This was followed by cultural section.

  National Policy on Education (NPE) 1986 and its 1992 modification : The main objective of the National Policy on Education 1986 was to promote universal access, equity, and quality in education across all levels. It was introduced under the leadership of Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi . One of the major schemes launched through this policy was Operation Blackboard , aimed at improving infrastructure and teaching materials in primary schools. To provide quality education to talented rural students, Navodaya Vidyalayas were established as residential schools. Teacher education was a key focus, and the policy emphasized professional development through institutions like District Institutes of Education and Training (DIETs) .
