Objective
The Hiroshima and Nagasaki commemoration program was organized with the primary objective of remembering the tragic events of August 6 and 9 1945,and promoting peace ,nuclear disarmamemt,and global awareness of the devastating consequences of nuclear warfare.

A minute of silence to honor the victims
Historical Background presentation (10.00-12.00)
Power Point presentation on nuclear disarmament,peace building and the history of hirosima by Shajila,
PPT showcasing the personal stories of survivors and the impact of the atomic bomb by Anu George
Educational Exhibits (12.30-2.00)
Displays ,posters related to Hirosima and Nagasaki by the students of commerce and Natural Science
Department Oraganized a quiz competition ,documentary for the students in connection with Hiroshima and Nagasaki
day observance on 9 august 2023.The programme was a reminder of the hiroshima and Nagasaki
bombing attack .It helped the students to gain an insight into the importancte of anti-war and anti-
nuclear demonstrations.
Conclusion
The Hiroshima Day commemoration program was powerful and moving event that served as a
reminder of the horrors of nuclear warfare while inspiring hope and commitment to a world free
nuclear threats.
