ONAM CELEBRATIONS 2023 Date: 23-08-2023 Venue: Seminar Hall, St. Peter’s Training College.  Objective: to celebrate the spirit of Onam. Onam celebration of the students of St. Peter’s training college was conducted on 23rd of August 2023.There was a title competition in which all the current batches of the college were able to participate and suggest names for the Onam event. The name “Upperi” was selected unanimously and thus the Onam celebration was named Upperi 2K23. Dignitaries from Management Trust were present in the celebrations.  Various indoor and outdoor games added color to the day. A “Pookkalam” was set in the theme of Kerala. Competitions like “ Sreeman Shreemati”, Sundarikku Pottukuthal, Bun Game, Lemon and spoon race, filling water in the bottle and kasera kali were organized. FARMER'S DAY Date                     : 17-08-2023 Venue                     : St Peter's Training College, Kolenchery, Seminar Hall Objective              : To spread awareness about the importance of farming and to                                              inspire young people to pursue agriculture. Resource person: Mr.Jimmy Paul The Farmer's Day celebrations were held on August 17th 2023 at 10.00 am, at the Seminar Hall of St Peter's Training College, Kolenchery. Mr. Jimmy Paul,a young farmer, was honored in the function as a mark of our respect towards the entire farmer community. This was followed by an interactive session, wherein he enriched us with small and big nuggets of wisdom. the Vote of Thanks was delivered by the class leader,Vismaya P R.The afternoon session was dedicated to planting trees.

INDEPENDENCE DAY CELEBRATIONS Date: 14-08-2023  and 15-08-2023 Venue: Seminar Hall, St. Peter's Training College, Kolenchery  Objective: to commemorate the freedom fighters and struggle for independence.      St. Peter's B.Ed. Training College in association with the English Club organized Independence Day celebrations on 14th and 15th of August 2023.The aim of the programme was to create a spirit of patriotism and to commemorate the freedom fighters.
